We welcome all beings of good heart to come celebrate the magic of the new-born spring at Ozark Avalon Church of Nature. We celebrate the Spring equinox by focusing on healing and personal growth. Ozark Avalon is a Wiccan Church and land sanctuary in Mid-Missouri. We have over 150 acres of upland woods and meadows on the bluffs of the Missouri River, a four bunk-room retreat center in a 150 year old farmhouse and a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, mobile home and a barn. Numerous trails connect sacred sites. There are many camping areas, many with water and established fire-rings. We also have many created and natural shrines and an abundance of wild herbs and wildlife.
Registration opens at 12:00 pm. Friday March 18.
Friday Evening starting around 5:00pm Red Snake Party - As you arrive adults and children can decorate eggs Friday evening. We will enjoy the Irish traditions of corned beef and cabbage in honor of the Red Snake- the symbol of our spiritual ancestors who were driven out or converted to the new religion by Patrick. Adults are welcome to raise a cup of green ale if they so desire while we listen to Celtic music.
Saturday we will have workshops on Herbalism, Tai Chi and Sweat lodge Lore and Preparation. Massage and a Healing Drum Circle. Saturday’s mid afternoon feast will feature the traditional lamb as main course. In the evening we will have both a traditional Wiccan Ostara Circle and later there will be a sweat lodge offered to those who wish to experience this form of cleansing and worship.
Sunday there will be the annual visit by the Great Bunny and an egg hunt on Sunday starting at 1:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. The egg hunt Sunday afternoon is free and open to the entire community.
The weather may be a little cool so if you plan to
camp pack accordingly.

includes camp site or indoor space to throw a sleeping bag. Bed
space will
be reserved first for those with special needs. Those who arrive
early may
choose location: bed, couch or floor. We expect to have Frog Bog
